Skim Milk Powder, Instant

Skim Milk Powder, Instant is fat free milk that has been dried to a fine powder.

To prepare 1 cup (250 mL) of skim milk, combine 25g (about 4 tbsp or 60 mL) Instant Skim Milk Powder with 1 cup (250 mL) of cold water.

Uses:

Pre-mix dry ingredients for baked goods that use milk.

That's usually 1/3 cup (75 mL) of powdered milk for every 1 cup (250 mL) fresh milk. Remember to add the water to the wet ingredients when you are ready to bake. Label and store mixes in airtight containers for up to one month.

Also great camping or when traveling. It also makes breads and baked goods extra moist. And of course, it’s the perfect addition to drinks and smoothies.
