Ready to use meringue powder.
Regular Use: Place 1lb (454g) of meringue powder and 10oz (280ml) warm water (100-120 F) in a clean bowl.
Stir until dissolved, then beat with wire whip at high speed until desired peak (appx 7 minutes).
For one pie mix 81g (9 level tablespoons) of powder and 75ml (5 tablespoons) of warm water.
Place 1lb (454g) of meringue powder, 10oz warm water, 2.5lb (1.1kg) icing sugar icing sugar and a pinch of cream of tartar into a clean bowl.
Finish with mixing with paddle but do not whip.
For one 2-6" fruit cake, add 1.5 cups of sifted icing sugar and mix with spatula until smooth.
Ingredients: Sugar, maltodextrin, corn syrup solids, dried egg white, gum arabic, calcium lactate, modified corn starch, lactic acid, sodium aluminum sulphate, cream of tartar, citric acid, cellulose gum, locust bean gum, xantham gum, artificial flavour. Contains eggs.
